November 12. Today, the reversed card "Death" fell out for you

The reversed Death card weaves a tale of stagnation and resistance to change. So what does it say about that person’s thoughts? Well, it looks like they are stuck in a cycle of indecision regarding you. Not the thing you have been expecting, huh? Well, the upside-down Death does not lie - that person is mentally holding onto the past. It could be a memory, a grudge, or an old version of you - it doesn’t matter. What matters is they are in a state of emotional paralysis that prevents them from forming a clear, forward-moving perspective in the present.

The reversed Death in love speaks of someone emotionally frozen. They do still think of you; however, their thoughts are colored by nostalgia, unresolved hurt, or a fear of the transformation a real relationship would require. Trust the card when it says that this person is not thinking about how to build a future with you. Instead, they are rewatching your past. They are stuck, and nothing you do can change that. They should choose to evolve on their own. 

As a feeling, the upside-down Death reminds you of that stagnant air in a room that has been sealed for too long. It smells of being trapped in a memory, of trying to force a connection that has already completed its cycle. Additionally, the card makes you think of inertia that causes immense pain - holding on is mistakenly seen as safer than the unknown pain of letting go.

When it comes to a yes or no, the reversed Death shakes its fleshless skull. “Their thoughts are not leading toward a positive resolution, dear.” Their energy is stuck, for they are resisting the necessary ending or transformation that would bring them clarity.  Do not wait for their thoughts to change. If you need closure, it must come from you.
